How to prepare for Holiday Shop:

• Go find those Holiday Shop envelopes! We sent them home last week. 
• Fill out the front of the envelope with your child so they are prepared to purchase gifts for 3-5 of their most important people/pets. 
• Remind your child that they should not purchase gifts for themselves or their classmates.
• Fill out the gift tags provided in the Holiday Shop envelope.
• Put small bills and coins in the Holiday Shop envelope. *Please do NOT send your child to school with large amounts of money. Gifts are all under $5, so 5 gifts at $5 each is a max of $25! Any amount more than that is not necessary. A child will easily be able to get 5 gifts for $10-$15. 
• Put the Holiday Shop envelope in your child's backpack and they'll be all set!

Students will have the opportunity to shop during the school day on Friday, 12/9. Volunteer shoppers will be on hand to assist students in choosing and paying for the gifts. 

If you would prefer your child not participate in the Holiday Shop, please contact your child's teacher so another activity can be prepared.

PTA Volunteers are working hard to bring back another big event that's been on hold through the pandemic. Our After School Enrichment Clubs happen on Tuesdays and Thursdays throughout March. It's an opportunity for parents, teachers, and community members to run clubs on anything and everything! Dancing, cheerleading, martial arts, basketball, engineering, jewel making. It's all possible during After School Enrichment Clubs.

Our 4th and 5th graders are enjoying enrichment residencies this month. 

4th graders will spend a week learning all about film making - everything from writing their own scripts to choosing their roles and filming their scenes. In they end, they will have several PSAs related to anti-bullying to share with the school. 

5th graders will spend time with Saratoga Performing Arts Center instructors throughout December & January learning about the history and culture of dance. They will learn their own dance routine and perform it for the school.

The cost of these residencies are covered completely through the Stevens PTA's fundraising efforts.  

The PTA and School would like to offer an apology for the lack of access to the 1001 Book Bags right now. Construction supplies have been blocking the book bag shelves for a while now. We hope that area will be cleared out soon and we are also considering a new location for the shelves. Hang tight and you should see an improvement soon!
