Superstar Spotlight: Illuminating News from Stevens PTA, November 2024, Issue #2
Grateful for Our Superstar Community

As Thanksgiving approaches, I want to take a moment to reflect on the incredible community we share here at Stevens. This season of gratitude reminds us how fortunate we are to have a school filled with dedicated teachers and staff, enthusiastic students, and supportive families.

Thank you to the parents, caregivers and volunteers for all the ways you've helped this year, you make our school shine brighter every day and a place where everyone thrives. Whether you’ve joined us at events, helped in the classroom, supported fundraisers, or simply encouraged your child’s learning at home, your contributions truly make a difference.

This Thanksgiving, I hope you enjoy special moments with loved ones and feel proud of the difference you’re making here at Stevens. Thank you for being such an important part of our Superstar family!

The Stevens Holiday Shop is back and ready to light up the season on Friday, December 6! This annual event gives students a chance to sparkle by picking out thoughtful holiday gifts for their loved ones. With help from our amazing teachers and volunteers, the shop is a fun and festive way for kids to experience the joy of giving.

For families new to the Holiday Shop, here’s how it works:

  • Shopping time: Each child has 30 minutes during the school day to select gifts and have them wrapped.
  • Number of gifts: Students can shop for up to five family members.
  • Price range: Gifts cost between $2.00 and $5.00.
  • Payment: Please send cash only with a maximum of $25.

After Thanksgiving break, your child will bring home a special envelope to create their shopping list with pre-labeled gift tags. Be sure to send the completed shopping envelope, gift tags, and cash to school with your child on Friday, December 6.

Superstars, we need your help!

We’d love your support to make this event a success! Here’s how you can get involved:

  • Volunteer: Join the festivities as a gift wrapper or shopper.
  • Donate: Keep our volunteers and crafters full of cheer with donations of coffee, donuts, or bagels!
