Let the Penny Wars Begin!

Hold onto your spare change—it's game time! The first-ever Penny Wars have officially begun, and it's shaping up to be a coin-tossing, strategy-building, grade-versus-grade battle for glory!

📅 March 10 - March 17: Students in grades K-5 can bring in spare change to boost their grade's jug. Here's the twist:

Pennies = Points!
Silver coins = Sabotage! (Subtract from other grades!)

The grade with the highest score wins the ultimate prize: extra recess!

Not only is this a fun, friendly competition, but all proceeds will help fuel Stevens PTA’s awesome enrichment programs. So dig deep in those couch cushions and pockets—every coin counts!

March PTA Meeting Highlights

Here's the scoop from this month's meeting—a big thank you to everyone who joined in person and online!

🌟 5th Grade Dinner: Huge shoutout to Staci DiMasi and Justine Ochal! The dinner raised $1,326 and scored 18 placemat ads. Next year's event is already brewing with fresh ideas.
💕 After-School Enrichment Clubs: Off to a great start! Lanyards are keeping everything organized like pros.
🏫 Science Fair: Big thanks to volunteers! Principal Vacca will resend links for the Ronald McDonald House soon.
🎓 Classroom Renovations: Still rolling, but updates to the office and lounge are paused.
🔄 Upcoming Fun:
- Dodgeball Tournament on March 11 (get ready to dodge, duck, dip, dive, and dodge!).
- 5th Grade Chipotle Fundraiser on March 12.
- Founder’s Day on March 20 – tickets available now!
- Movie Night on April 25 featuring The Lorax (bring your Truffula Trees!).
- Spring Fling on May 30 with Brooks BBQ locked in!
- Scholastic Book Fair & Walkabout on May 12-15—BOGO deals and sweet treats await.
- Teacher Appreciation Week (May 5-9)—stay tuned for daily themes!
- Spring Cleaning Drive - Stevens is collecting laundry supplies through March.
