Our first-ever Penny Wars was a wild ride—in the best way. Between strategic silver coin sabotage and some serious grade-level pride, we raised nearly $3,100 for student enrichment programs. Not bad for a bunch of spare change!
And in true underdog fashion, kindergarten came back from behind to snatch the win and score extra recess. The energy at Stevens that week was unmatched—students were hyped, parents were into it, and it was just plain fun to see our community so engaged.
Looking ahead, we’ve got a spring lineup: our first-ever PTA Movie Night, Teacher Appreciation Week, Walkabout and the BOGO Book Fair, Spring Fling, and Fun Run. So many ways to get involved and stay connected as we close out the school year.
We’re also looking for a few new faces to join next year’s PTA Executive Committee! Open roles include Treasurer, VP of School Support, and VP of Fundraising. If you’re interested in getting more involved—or just want to hang out with a great group of people doing meaningful work—reach out. We’d love to have you.
Thanks for all the ways you support our school. Let’s finish strong!
