PTA Membership Is for Everyone
Parents, caregivers, teachers, staff members and other adults who want to support the Stevens community are welcome to join.
And no — joining does not mean you have to volunteer.
Volunteer when you can, attend a meeting if you’re interested, or simply become a member. Your membership itself is a meaningful way to support the PTA and our school community.
Membership at a Glance
$10 Per Member
Memberships are individual, so each adult who would like to be a PTA member registers separately.
One School Year
PTA membership runs for the current school year and is renewed annually.
No Volunteer Requirement
Membership does not commit you to meetings, committees, events or volunteer hours.
A Voice in the PTA
Everyone is welcome to attend PTA meetings, while paid PTA members are eligible to vote on official PTA business.
Where Does the $10 Go?
Your membership supports both our local Stevens PTA and the broader PTA organization that provides resources and advocacy for students and schools.
$5 Stays with Stevens PTA
This portion supports our local PTA and the work we do for Stevens students, teachers and families.
$5 Supports NYS PTA
This portion goes to the New York State PTA, which provides support, resources and advocacy for local PTA chapters and students across New York.
What Your Support Helps Make Possible
Membership is one part of the support that helps the PTA provide more for the Stevens community.
Student Experiences & Enrichment
Field trips, assemblies, enrichment programs, after-school opportunities and special student experiences.
Teacher & School Support
Classroom resources, school needs, library support and appreciation for Stevens teachers and staff.

Community events and Stevens traditions that give students and families opportunities to connect and make memories together.
