What We Do
Stevens PTA helps bring extra experiences, resources and opportunities to our students, teachers and families throughout the school year.
PTA Support Shows Up All Around Stevens
Sometimes it looks like a field trip, assembly or after-school club. Sometimes it’s a family event, classroom resource, teacher appreciation lunch or special school tradition.
Behind all of it are families, volunteers, PTA members and community supporters working together to add something extra to the Stevens experience.
Student Experiences & Enrichment
We help expand learning beyond the classroom by supporting experiences that give students opportunities to explore, create, perform, discover and try something new.
Examples include field trips and grade-level enrichment, visiting presenters and assemblies, after-school enrichment clubs, student banking, drama and performance opportunities, and other curriculum-connected experiences planned with Stevens teachers and staff.
Family Events & School Traditions
Some of the best Stevens memories happen outside the regular school day. PTA events create opportunities for students and families to have fun together and feel connected to their school community.
Throughout the year, families may see traditions and events such as Monster Mash, Family Dinner, family movie nights, Dodgeball, the Spring Fling, the Walkabout & Ice Cream Social and other opportunities to gather as a school community.
Teacher & School Support
PTA support also goes directly back into the classrooms and school environment, helping teachers and staff meet needs that benefit Stevens students.
This can include classroom supplies and resources, grade-level needs, library support, school programs and special projects, as well as events that recognize and support the teachers and staff who care for our students every day.
Family Connection & Communication
A strong school community also depends on families being able to find information, connect with one another and understand what’s happening at Stevens.
The PTA maintains family resources through Membership Toolkit, manages the Stevens Family Directory, shares PTA news and event information, welcomes new families and kindergartners, and helps connect families with school and community resources.
Volunteers Make It Happen
Many PTA-supported programs depend on families sharing a little time, a particular skill or an occasional donated item. That might mean helping at a book fair, working a popcorn morning, contributing to a staff event or lending a hand at a family activity.
There is no expectation that every family volunteer. When people help in ways that fit their own schedules and interests, those individual contributions add up.

Fundraising gives the PTA the resources to support the programs, events and school needs you see throughout the year.
From fundraisers and book fairs to community partnerships and family participation, the money raised is put back into the Stevens student and school experience.
It All Adds Up
No single event or program defines the PTA. Our impact comes from all of these pieces working together to give Stevens students more opportunities, support the people who teach them and build a school community where families feel connected.

Membership is one simple way to support everything the PTA helps make possible. It’s $10 per member, and volunteering is never required.
