Some of the PTA's most meaningful work happens behind the scenes. From classroom resources to staff appreciation and everyday school programs, we help support the people and experiences that make Stevens special.
Supporting Our Classrooms
PTA funding helps teachers provide additional supplies, materials and learning experiences for Stevens students.
Teacher Classroom Stipends
Each classroom teacher receives a PTA stipend to help purchase supplies, materials and other items that support their students. It's one of the ways PTA fundraising directly benefits classrooms throughout Stevens.
Grade-Level & School Needs
Beyond classroom stipends, the PTA also helps fund special resources, materials and purchases requested by grade-level teams as needs arise throughout the year.
Celebrating Our Teachers & Staff
Our teachers and staff do so much for Stevens students. Throughout the year, the PTA brings families together to show our appreciation and recognize everything they do.
Staff Welcome Back Breakfast
We kicked off the 2026–2027 school year with our "Fall Into a Bright New School Year" breakfast! Thanks to generous families, volunteers and local businesses, we welcomed the Stevens team back with breakfast, thoughtful surprises and a little extra appreciation to start the year.
Teacher & Staff Appreciation Luncheon
During Teacher Appreciation Week, the PTA hosts a special luncheon to thank the teachers and staff who make Stevens such a wonderful place to learn and grow. Family contributions and volunteers help make this celebration possible.
Supporting the Stevens School Community
From school-day traditions to helpful resources for families, PTA volunteers contribute in ways that support students, staff and the school community.
Building Council
PTA representatives participate in Stevens Building Council meetings alongside teachers and administrators, helping bring a family perspective to discussions about school programs, priorities and initiatives.
Library Volunteers
Family volunteers help support the Stevens library with tasks such as shelving books and assisting with library activities when opportunities are available.
School Picture Day
PTA volunteers help school picture days run smoothly by assisting students and supporting the photography team.

A favorite Stevens tradition! PTA volunteers help coordinate monthly Popcorn Fridays, bringing a little extra fun to the school day.
Online Family Directory
The PTA maintains an online Family Directory to help Stevens families connect with one another outside of school. Families can choose what contact information to share, making it easier to arrange playdates, birthday invitations and other connections.
