Some of the PTA’s most important work happens behind the scenes. Throughout the year, we support Stevens teachers, staff and school programs in ways that help strengthen the experience for every student.
Classroom & Grade-Level Support
PTA funding helps teachers and grade-level teams purchase materials, supplies and resources that support learning throughout the school year.
Teacher Classroom Support
Each year, PTA funds help teachers purchase classroom supplies, materials and other items that support their students.
Grade-Level Needs
PTA also helps fund special resources and purchases requested by grade-level teams when needs arise during the year.
Celebrating Our Teachers & Staff
PTA-supported appreciation events are one way Stevens families can say thank you to the people who care for, teach and support our students every day.
Teacher & Staff Welcome Breakfast
We kick off the school year by welcoming Stevens teachers and staff back with a special breakfast prepared with support from our school community.
Teacher & Staff Appreciation Luncheon
During Teacher Appreciation Week, the PTA hosts a special luncheon to celebrate the dedication and hard work of the Stevens team.
Supporting the Stevens School Community
PTA volunteers and representatives also support school programs and help strengthen communication between families and Stevens.
Building Council
PTA representatives participate in Stevens Building Council meetings alongside teachers and administrators, helping bring a family perspective to conversations about school programs and initiatives.
Library Support
Family volunteers may help support the Stevens library throughout the year with tasks such as shelving books and assisting with library activities when opportunities are available.
School Pictures
PTA volunteers help picture day run smoothly by assisting students and supporting the school and photography team throughout the day.
Stevens Yearbook
The PTA helps create the annual Stevens yearbook, capturing student portraits, school activities and memorable moments from throughout the year.
